Content & Growth Marketeer

Join us on our voyage.

At The Plugged Group, we create experiences people remember.

Behind the scenes, The Plugged Group is the shared service center supporting the two companies that bring those experiences to life: Plugged Live Shows, our international creative agency and production company for live shows, and The Fireflies, our new-age booking agency creating live entertainment programs built around storytelling and themes.

We are looking for a Content Marketeer who can turn what we do into stories the outside world wants to hear. Someone who sees a great project and immediately thinks: there is a story here. Someone who can connect creativity with commercial goals, bring structure to a fast-moving environment, and make sure our best work doesn't just happen, but that it gets seen.

What will you do?

You are the link between our projects and the outside world. From a first creative idea to the moment a campaign goes live, you own the content process end-to-end. You make sure we know what we want to say, why we want to say it, who we want to reach, when it needs to happen and through which channel.

Turn Projects into Stories.

A great project doesn't automatically make a great story. That's where you come in. When a team comes to you with an exciting project, you identify the story, the audience and the opportunity. You translate that into a content idea, campaign or communication plan and turn it into a clear brief for the people who will bring it to life.

You work with photographers, videographers, designers and other creative specialists to create the right assets. You don't have to make everything yourself, but you know what we need, what good looks like and how to get it made.

From a show we're producing, an industry insight or an award opportunity: you make sure we don't just do great work, we make something of it.

You will:

• Spot content opportunities within our projects, campaigns and day-to-day business.

• Develop content concepts and campaigns around those opportunities.

• Define the story, audience, message and desired outcome, with MQL generation as the key KPI for our content efforts.

• Create clear creative briefs and coordinate with the right specialists to bring them to life.

• Make sure the content we produce reflects our brands and quality level.

• Turn projects into case studies, social content, newsletters and other stories worth sharing.

Plan & Orchestrate.

Great content only works if it actually gets out there. You own and manage our content calendar across Plugged Live Shows and The Fireflies. Your job is to make sure our channels are consistently filled with relevant, timely and on-brand content, without anything becoming a last-minute scramble. You create structure, keep the overview and make sure the content flow keeps moving.

You will:

• Build and manage our content calendar across channels and audiences.

• Plan what goes out, when and where.

• Schedule and publish content across our social channels.

• Write and distribute newsletters and external publications.

• Coordinate case studies, award submissions and other planned communications.

• Keep track of upcoming projects, deadlines and content needs.

• Make sure content is produced, approved and ready to go live at the right moment.

• Keep the balance between planned content and the opportunities that pop up along the way.

You are essentially the engine room of our content operation: making sure there is always something relevant to say, something ready to share and a clear reason why we're sharing it.

Grow the brand.

Content is not just about being visible. It's about being visible to the right people. You help shape how Plugged Live Shows and The Fireflies show up in the market and think strategically about how content can contribute to brand growth and our commercial pipeline.

The goal isn't more content. It's better content, reaching the right people and creating something for the business. You look beyond our own projects and keep an eye on what is happening in the market: which sectors are moving, which topics are gaining traction and what our audiences care about.

You will:

• In close collaboration with the team, you help develop and translate our Growth Marketing Plan into content initiatives. You help identify the audiences, sectors and themes we should be talking to and turn these insights into targeted content and campaigns that reach the right people and generate MQLs.

• Use industry developments and trends to identify new content opportunities.

• Develop content initiatives that strengthen our brands and market position.

• Measure what content resonates and use those insights to improve what we do next.

• Think about how content can support our commercial priorities and pipeline together with the Business Developer.

• Identify content-driven commercial signals and translate relevant insights into actionable input for our commercial team.

What are we looking for.

We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable thinking strategically, creatively and getting things done. You don't wait for someone to tell you what the content plan should be. You see an opportunity, build a plan, get the right people around the table and make it happen.

You are:

• Experienced in (growth) marketing, content marketing or a similar role.

• Someone who can bring structure to multiple moving parts.

• Able to balance business objectives with creative thinking.

• Comfortable working with creative specialists and external partners.

• Strong in writing and storytelling, with a good feel for tone of voice.

• Commercially minded and interested in how content contributes to growth.

• Proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership.

• Fluent in English and Dutch.

• Familiarity with the events, entertainment, creative or agency world is a plus.
